I want to be like a bear, eat a lot, hibernate all winter, and wake up skinny in the Spring! :)

I hear you Keith. I have to stay away from the fruit as well. Sadly I only taste test the berry mix from my kids smoothies every so often. Thanks to you both for this video.

I just recently started making my own gelatin desserts with lemon, lime or grapefruit juice and stevia. Two Tbsp. beef gelatin powder to four cups of citrus juice, sweeten to taste. I sometimes add some frozen raspberries, blueberries or blackberries, just a few, and serve with a dab of whipped cream. Seriously, how healthful is that?!!

fruit is the compromise I make instead of what had been my usual sweet treats of pastries or chocolates or ice cream. I limit it to one apple/banana/orange etc per day

During the dreary winter months I love pomegranates. I eat them one aril at a time while watching tv, much like others eat potato chips.

Awww - thank you for showing off Maddie! 🐶❤️😁 This is a great video. My husband, who has always been fit, eats berries everyday and the rare higher carb fruit. I, on the other hand, enjoy a half serving of berries only when he tells me that this current batch is worth it. When it is rare, it is just that much more enjoyable!

Personally, I can have a little mashed strawberry on a piece of Diedre Bread once a week ... otherwise fruit just sends me into a sort of carbo-frenzy I can't seem to step away from, causing cravings like crazy.

Ordinary sugar is 50% glucose and 50% fructose. HFCS 42" and "HFCS 55" refer to dry weight fructose compositions of 42% and 55% respectively, the rest being glucose. 42 is usually in processed food and 55 in soft drinks. I'm in the UK and it is not used at all.

I do enjoy fruits BUT enjoy artichokes and avocados more. So now on keto, I just eat more of these green vegies. Celery and spinach are kind of bland but help stop the hunger pains also.

My fave summer treat is frozen strawberries mixed 2:1 with frozen mango. Don't eat much of it but really helps with the summer fruit craving.

Avocado is the only fruit we eat. We peel and slice them like apples and then freeze them right away with some wax paper separating them a little in the a gallon zip lock may do a dozen at a time. We don't care if they are almost ripe or all green. Then we take out what we want and let them thaw for a few minutes. They are so much more easier to eat and they never get overripe. we steal a tomato or a couple strawberries now and then, but not very often.

If you always eat protein and fat with your fruit, it slows down the absorption of the carbs. And if you eat fruit right before you work out, you'll burn it up.
