I know for a fact that if I didn't find Keto over 5 yrs ago, I would not be alive today. I was morbidly obese, could hardly breathe, I was on so many medications, I was applying for and needed disability. Within 4 months of starting keto I was off all but 1 medication. after 2 yrs I weighed 155 pounds less. I was able to get a very active job working 12 hours on my feet. I haven't gotten sicker, I got more healthy. If nothing else Keto gave me over 5 extra years with an amazing quality of life. I have walked to the highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains.

No one will ever convince me that grains and sugars are needed in our diet 🙄

At 69 I went Keto. I lost 75lbs. I lost my T2D. I lost my arthritis. I gained a spring in my step. I could run again, and I chased and caught my 5 y.o. granddaughter in the park. I walked briskly one hour daily. Today I'm 74 and I'm door dashing daily 6-7 hours. I'm still trim and still have the spring in my step. I stray occasionally but always come back and fast from 48-60 hours. The old age symptoms are gone..

Funny, I am on an almost carnivore diet and I am off diabetic meds, blood pressure meds, all of my bloodwork comes back normal and I sleep better than I have in decades. My doctor is the one who suggested a keto diet.

Been on keto almost 8 years and got off all meds in the first year. I feel great and will not stop this diet, my blood gets checked every year and it comes out great! Don’t discourage people to do Keto just because it didn’t work for you💯

Great video. I'm going to give up the keto diet, go back to prediabetes, gain the weight back, get acid reflux back, be tired all the time, create new hemroids, fart everybody out of the room, get depressed, have my blood pressure go back up, restart my sugar addiction, and start making appointments again for my Dr... I can't wait!

I can't help but wondering who actually funded this research, but I'm sure that if I knew I wouldn't be the least surprised... 🤑

My mother’s lost eyesight returned when I suggested her to try a keto diet. Her eye specialist even said it makes a difference, but said sugar is something we need for pleasure in life! I think seeing well brings even more pleasure!

This is a little confusing. Even if you don’t eat carbs your body will still produce glucose through gluconeogenesis, as mentioned in the video. Especially if you do intense exercise you’ll still get significant blood sugar spikes even on keto. So it doesn’t make sense that our bodies could ‘forget’ how to use glucose.

Keto has been a miracle for me. I went on keto because it helped control narcolepsy. It also cleared up other problems like psoriasis.. My mother also went on keto at my request because of dementia. It has made radical improvements in her life. I don't think I'm cheating. I think the dietary needs and tolerances vary a lot from person to person.

I was on 16 pills a day and 305 pounds. My blood work was very bad and was close to diabetic, My cholesterol was through the roof. I have been on Keto since April 2021. I am down to 165 as of today. I am on 0 pills, and my blood work was amazing. I do clean keto and drink a gallon of water per day. I also take my vitamins. Before you make a long term video that scares an audience, actually do the experiment yourself or ask those who have been on keto besides being a book nerd and producing content on what you read about without you doing research yourself.

Never met a doctor that was an expert in nutrition and I still haven't.

If you go to the grocery store and just happen to stumble across something that didn't exist before the 1900s, you probably shouldn't be eating it.

Eat up the sugars and carbs people. Those pharmaceuticals need to be sold.

Are these the same doctors that told us covid vaccines work, and to stay in our houses for two years? Asking for a friend 😮

I have been fat all my life and tried all types of diets which have all failed. I had T2D, high cholesterol and was very overweight. I did keto for 6 months, my weight dropped 10 kilos, my blood sugar dropped to 5.4. I stopped the diet after that and allowed some carbs back into my diet. 6 months later my body had not put back any weight, my blood sugars were now normal so my diabetes is considered normal and my cholesterol had dropped to acceptable levels. I do not take statins. I had been eating fatty meat, cooking everything in butter, following the diet correctly. My arthritis improved, I was able to do exercise, walk my dog and I had boundless energy. I am 70 years old and my life has turned around.

I’ve been doing keto off and on since 1973 when I dropped 55 lbs. Science tells us that WE DO NOT NEED CARBS! I’m 76 and going strong.

I am an early adopter of the Keto diet. For my body type it is the only way for me to be and feel healthy as long as a wholly follow the diet instead of taking an incrime tal approach. I have encountered so many friends that think they can enjoy the fats without strictly controlling their carb intake. It is not an incremental system where if I lower my carbs by half I’ll get half of the good results. There is a wave of anti keto politics hitting the censors and algorythyms online because the AMA doesn’t really want us to be pharm free.
