You really shouldn't trust anyone who's trying to make money off your hip pain.

When I see something like this, I am so glad I live in Canada. There is no incentive for this and when I went to my doc and had hip x-rays done, the first thing he said was." there is no correlation between hip x-ray results and your issues ... the first thing we are trying is physio" ... and after 6 weeks, I can say that is has helped a lot.

I visited my primary care doctor with hip pain. He examined me, and said he believed it was actually referred back pain. He gave me a set of exercises, and it made a huge difference.

Years later, when I experience hip pain I start doing those exercises again, and it clears it right up.

I'm so glad to live in a country with health care is a right rather than a way to make lots of money.

You’re 100% correct!
I was having horrible hip pain and balance issues. My nephew is a physiotherapist who specializes in balance. I started working with him& my hip Paine went away & my balance issues resolved! I started to suspect that many hip & knee surgeries are bogus!

I live in the UK. There is no incentive to have hips operated. Mine, both had to be operated though, after months of trying physio. Now I exercise to keep mobile and prevent further ops. So yes, Physio does help, but there can be a point when it does not anymore. Thank you for all your tips anyway! Some are wonderful for me!

Ive followed your channel. Now I need to actually do the suggested excercises instead of just watching the videos! hmm?! ;)

Pruning shears!! I love the gaslighting of the character telling you not to listen to people... So, "Why should I listen to you?" 🤔🧐 Cash or credit, love it!. 🤭💵💸🤑💲💳😊

I’m a physical therapist and I’ve done it!!

The problem where I live is that physical therapists have a couple of theories that they stick to (and force ME to follow for months) without looking at how different issues can affect the one I'm there for. Why won't they look at how things work TOGETHER and try to figure out how to actually fix the problem? I'm exhausted mentally from ten years of PT that either is useless or makes me hurt worse.

All my doctors sent me to physical therapy first. They wanted to fix it with exercise first. Or sent me home with a bunch of exercises to try first.

(Right) Movement is Medicine!! (often times, not all)

and also, after paying 13k, we don't guarantee that your hip pain will be solved, and you will end up doing physical therapy anyway to strengthen it.

Insurance wouldn’t even cover hip surgery until PT is attempted….

I have CAM impignement. I made a long exercise period a half year ago and the sharp pain gone for a month, I was so happy, goes back to tennis competitons. But after this excellent month the pain came back and now I just walking slow, no sport. My opinion that all these exercises looks good and help in short terms but it can’t change THAT BONE SHAPE and your labrum wearing more and more. Better if accept the artroscopic surgey. I’m in the decision befor surgey and very sad. Or somebody convince me how can the exercises solve an impignement bone shape?? Okay the muscles is everything and muscles move the bones but that how the bone will not collison to labrun?

Exercise can exacerbate pain especially with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I know I have it and I stretch, exercise, left weights only to be in pain and stiffness throughout the day. My husband has new found hip and knee pain and he is an avid fitness guy. The doctor recommended palates or yoga instead.

But now, what do you suggest one should do to ease hip pain?
