How to Stretch your Hip Flexors (Quads/Psoas) with Antranik (Part 2)

In part 2, I teach you how to take the lunge to the next level to stretch your hip flexors further and get more hip extension. This helps target all of the quadriceps muscles as well as the deeper hip flexors (iliopsoas) even more. The beauty of this progression is you don't really need equipment once you could start grabbing the foot.

If you could have a pn everyday 10-15 minute full body stretching video for lifters that we could follow along, that'd be superb.

Thanks very much sir, i did it once now while watching the video and i'm feeling instant relief. I'll definitely include it in the pre-workout works.

Perfect! Just what I need to progress on my crap hipflexors.

Now if you could pretty please make a dimilar video for tight hamstrings? I'm actually struggling to keep my legs stretched out due to extremely tight hamstrings.

This stretching routine has helped me to identify that my left hip flexors are tight when compared to my right. Wonderful stretch. Thanks man! :)

I had some pain in the hamstring a bit, I definitely need to work a lot more on my flexibility. I recommend people do this slow and carefully if you are inflexible like me!

These are great, i always look foward to more vidoes and try them out myself if no equipment is needed.

Awesome video, been working on this in a yoga class, can grab my foot almost on both sides, will practice with a towel as suggested. Thanks for the tips!

1. Is it redundant to do this if we're already doing the couch stretch?
2. Should we do this as well as the pigeon stretch?

"Don't grit your teeth" haha! That's what I was exactly doing at that moment.

Btw, is it okay for your one side to be a bit weaker than the other? For me, my right (foot forward side) was a breeze but the other side was nothing short of painful. I hope it is not of any serious concerns and the balance would be restored as I practice this more.

Thanks for the video!

Is it normal for my hamstring to cramp every time I go to grab my foot (the hamstring of the leg behind)
