Wish you’d also state pace in kms for your international subs, pretty pls!! Eg x per mil or y per km.

I wear my watch when running. I count every time my right foot lands, count the landings for a minute. I make sure I step 80 times per minute when slow running and 90 right foot landings per minute when HIIT running.
Back in my Army days I would probably have been counting on the left foot landings.
Any time I'm not sure if my cadence is high enough for tendon recoil, then I start counting while the seconds roll by, deciding at 30 seconds whether to pump my arms at a higher rate. My feet sync up readily with my arms.
