Looking for a simple beginner exercise for rounded shoulders? No gym but still want to improve your posture and shoulder strength? This shoulder exercise will build arm and shoulder strength and can be a great fix for rounded shoulders.

When you don't have access to a gym or dumbbells, bands can provide a great way to work your shoulders. By setting up bands on a secure anchor point, you don't need a gym to improve your shoulder posture.

Rounded shoulders are a product of poor shoulder strength and length. The band row can reduce shoulder rounding and improve your upper back posture. It's easy to do with no gym and can be done at home, the office, or anywhere you can tie exercise bands.

There are a lot of videos out there on fixing forward head posture, but could you possibly do one on its opposite condition: “military neck”? My dad is a chiro and I really like your videos!!

You have a round long band. I had a gaiam flat band and used it like that around an object and the band split in the middle. I was doing that same exerclese (pretty much) from a Bob and Brad videol You have more detail tbs. - - To get such a band as you have?? AHA it is in the video description. Matt, you rule.

I don't have place in my space or furniture to use the type of band he uses here. Or maybe use his type and hook it around the opposite door knob then close the door. :-) I found a not expensive one with a piece that hooks behind a closed door. It also will keep your band from coming loose and whacking you one. Thank you for this.

I have resistance tubing and bands -- that should work, right? I have these, and short looped bands, but not haven't acquired those big looped bands yet. I really appreciate your humor too. :-D What kind do you use, by the way?

This is great and I love your channel but rowing at gym and weight training would be better? I’m trying to prevent rounded shoulders and te resistance seems too little. I probably need a higher level band

A physio recently said that you can’t unround shoulders if your elbows are bent so I stopped doing this rowing stretch?

Back muscles are so complicated 😭 I'm always searching up for videos of back workouts to strengthen and improve my posture yet my posture is not perfect yet. They're just so many exercises targeting individual muscle groups in different areas.

What happens if you’re getting a lot of pain in that area? Would it be possible the pain is coming from a herniated disk in the Thoracic spine?
