Do these five stretches and exercises to improve bad posture which is often caused by forward head and rounded shoulders. These gentle moves are perfect for seniors and beginner exercisers. Join my 80-year-old mom and me with this important workout that can improve your posture to help you move better, prevent falls, and lessen neck and back pain.

Corner Wall Stretch
- Hold 10 seconds
- Do 3 times

Upper Trapezius Stretch
- Hold for 10 seconds
- Do 5 times left and right

Chest Stretch
- Hold 20 seconds
- Do 3 times

Chin Tuck
- Hold for 5 seconds
- Do 10 times

- Hold each for 10 seconds
- Do 5 rounds of the 4 moves

Thank you for Fix Bad Posture exercises. I'm someone who walks with head down. A friend has been telling me recently that she sees me downtown and my head is always down. I want to correct this situation. I need to be vigilant in this endeavour.

I just viewed this one. My posture is ramrod straight., but when I sit at the computer (perhaps an hr. or so/day intermittently, including exercises and stretches), my thoracic and cervical spine begin to hurt as does my trapezius. Looking down for any length of time (reading a book, chopping food, etc.) also brings pain to my entire neck area. These exercises are great for me by providing relief, so thank you for adding this to your list of great exercises and stretches...Anastasia
