So the simplest advice I can offer to stay healthy and free from neck and shoulder pain is to HANG.

You don’t need amazing grip strength to start. Hanging horizontal as shown in the video is safe for everyone.

So make sure you take time to hang out.

Relax and let gravity do it’s work by naturally realigning the joints and stretching what needs to be stretched.

Grip strength is strongly correlated with increased life expectancy- so there’s that as well.

Hang out more - die less. That’s a pretty good deal.

Absolutely! I've been fat and lazy my entire life. Recently started losing weight and getting healthy. Dead hangs are an absolute game changer. I do them multiple times a day, my entire back and shoulders no longer hurt. Everyone should find a way to dead hang every day.
