Hi, just found your channel. I too had a horrific 1st relapse whereupon I was hospitalised 6 weeks acute + 6 wks rehab. 1st 10 days were a blur. Brain biopsy + 2nd further, deeper brain exploratory surgery to eventually DX’d with Tumefactive, Highly aggressive, Relapsing Remitting MS. Lesions were over 2cm in size and mimic Tumours.
Forward 8 months and about to have my 2nd Infusion of Ocrevus (had 2 x half infusions jun/jul) in early January. Progressed with my exercise after rehab and looking now to continually progress - hence glad I found your channel 👍🏻 I will fight this every day 👊🏻

Glad to see you again and your fighting spirit. Lately, I've forgot to pray for you, I'm sorry. But will resume again tomorrow for a lovely person.

Thanks for this 👏🏽

I do static lunges in gym. I have slight drop-foot on right side so was a challenge to keep ankle from turning in. Hate lunges 🤬 BUT I improved from 3 on each side to 15 on each side without holding on. Within 1-2 weeks of going to gym, 2-3 times per day.

However, I stopped for about 1-2 months (I don’t like gym either). And not surprisingly I’m back to 2-3 lunges on each side 🙂. But as with anything if u don’t use it, u loose it. This goes for those with and without MS.

A lot of your exercises, my gym trainer showed me to do. I use kettle bells or hand weights for every exercise. Oh and I still cry at gym 😥.

Yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️ is good for balance too 🙂

I know everyone's problems are so different, but did you have anything specific for stairs? (I know it's basically just the weight transfer from balancing on one foot to the other, so this video already covers the basics). That's my biggest drama is I can't quite keep the weak side from shaking when in the middle of the weight transfer (yah for ataxia) so yeah asides from spending more time making the hips stronger and the core stronger and working at it, wondering if you had anything in particular that you did?
