Proper running form begins with great running posture. Runners like you and me want to prevent running injuries, so we can run faster and further. Whether you're training for your first 5k, a half marathon, or you're currently marathon training, running with good posture is the foundation to efficient running technique, and will help you to activate muscles like your glutes and core muscles to help you avoid running injuries and run pain free. The running technique tips in this video will help you to master your running head position, run with relaxed shoulders and to avoid the anterior pelvic tilt that often causes lower back pain and glute inhibition in runners...

Right at the beginning I remembered one of the first things I learned running on trails: try to antecipate as much as you can the terrain you're going to step over right in front of you. That helps you precisely not to lean your head down so much, and can give you precious time to decide where to place your foot and how.

I find myself certainly correcting running form during longer runs.

Everyone needs to get out there and spend time pounding the ground.

If you're fatigued after then good. If you're hurting in a certain area after a mile or two and it doesn't go away, you are doing something wrong.

Injury I truly believe Is what gets people good running form or expecially the runs leading up to an injury, if it hurts you are doing it wrong. Change it up.

Thanks for the awesome video! I'm currently working on undoing decades of bad posture habits. It's particularly challenging to fix the anterior pelvis tilt. I think you said in another video to picture your pelvis as a bowl of water and hold it so none of the water spills out. I've been keeping that cue in my head for weeks. I think I'm making some steady progress, so thanks!!!

Really enjoying your videos. I’m a runner and Pilates instructor primarily for runners. I refer them to your videos, amazing how Pilates can complement running 👍🏻

One question boss. I was running 7k distance. During that I have caught pain in the region below the knee cap on my left leg. I have run 10k without problem so far but something went wrong in last training. The pain is 5 days old now, it's getting better but I have never encountered this problem in the whole year of my running before. Any guess what could it be.

This is my problem right now. I feel my poster degrade after 25 seconds of running.
