I think I would have cleaned the chassis first. Keep dust out then when cleaning around the bearings.

I put grease on my chainring bolts, I feel like they’d never come off I used thread lock.

I always find find the way you are cleaning your bike very exxagerated as if you are cleaning a piece of the diamond the will never get sratched.
