This a common problem with beginners including me. Going in a gym can be very intimidating and not many make videos on it, so thank you!!

I love when people help me with my form because we’ve all started somewhere and they’re not trying to embarrass you they just want to help so you can achieve your goals without hurting yourself. Improper form can be dangerous!

"A beginner's guide to weightlifting FOR PEOPLE WITH ANXIETY" :D Thank you so much for this video. I don't struggle with these anxities nearly as much anymore since I joined a smaller women's gym, but I feel everything you said in this video :D Also, I feel the quality of your videos is really improving!! :) Your last video about your fitness journey was way more structured and easier to follow than the first one (felt a little all over the place, sry). I'm excited to see where your journey with becoming a personal trainer is going. If you need first-time guinea pig clients I'm in :D

Girl god bless you. I have extreme anxiety around going to the gym and feeling out of place. You broke everything down in such a digestible way.

A baseball cap is my essential. Like blinders on a horse. They keep me focused and less aware of stares, etc and just help me feel more confident

This is a true beginners guide, I wish I had seen it years ago prior to starting weight lifting. Thank you for including gym etiquette, one would hope these things are common sense but there is always that one person who did not get the memo. Your hair looks great btw.

I recently started weightlifting but every time I go to the gym, either all the equipment is being used OR the men just stare at me and it really bothers me and makes me nervous to actually work out as I feel I’m being judged hardcore.

YOUR HAIR IS SO GORGEOUS OMG!!! It suits you so well 😭😭 I used to be afraid of weightlifting but I started a couple months ago and I’m OBSESSED! Also, I’m going to definitely incorporate these tips into my weightlifting routine, thank you so much Taylor!

This video helped me gain so much confidence. I've been doing home workouts since covid started but always wanted to go to the gym. i'm gonna make it happen now, and not let my gym anxiety get the best of me. if you feel the same way, remember we are all in this journey together, and to live happy and healthy lives. we can do it! Thank you so much Taylor for this video, it was so so so helpful!!❤️❤️❤️

This is such good timing - I’ve been getting bored at the gym and wanting to start weightlifting but it’s so intimidating!!

This was a great video for those that need it. The gym etiquette part is so right, I find as a woman that so many men take my equipment while I'm using it because they think they need it more than I do, I've had men stop me, mid set and ask me if I'm using the thing I'm actual using!

This has honestly made me feel so much better. I used to be a weightlifter in high school for a short period of time and I thrived when I was able to use my hyper adrenaline on weights. Once I graduated I stopped completely and lost all that progress. I was scared to go into my units gym out of fear that I'll look "weak". Of course I'm not as strong as someone who's been benching for years. This video was reassuring and I thank you for that 🙏

This is by far, without a doubt the most comprehensive weight room guide I have ever seen/found. I really appreciated all the little anecdotes and stories too lol. A part 2 would be amazing as well!!

This is exactly what I needed ! I’ve been working out consistently at home for 7 months now and I want to take it a step further by going to the gym but have no idea where to start! I’d love part 2!!!!

I am a slim young woman who wants to gain muscle and not feel so weak in my body. Your video is the only one that really made me feel comfy enough to step into an actual gym!

I went to the gym for the first time today and coming back home and watching this video to validate my worries and my 5 pounds dumbbells was so helpful, thank you 🥲💛

Great video! And you’re absolutely right, my biggest roadblock to weightlifting in the gym is a lack of confidence (despite trying to convince myself it’s some other, more worthy reason). Thanks so much for the video and a part two would be awesome!

I loved this video. I used to be an athlete, and then through my 20s worked behind a computer and ate too much junk food. Its been hard trying to get back into the gym and not feeling confident on the machines, especially trying to navigate my new weak joints. This video was very helpful, and your personality is very inspiring :)
