I use a fitness pal and Macro apps to track my calorie intake. In the beginning it annoying having to track evert cal you consume, but after a month you'll literally memorize the cal and nutrition so no need to manually track everything unless its something new. My advise. Do not snack, or consume any drinks that have calories. eat when its time to eat, and drink water, do intermittent fasting, and have a smoothie for lunch. Small changes result in a positive response.

The #1 thing is planned and structured diet, because the only way for your body to burn fat is to use it as energy. Basically, you need to eat below your energy maintenance level (in terms of calories) and your fat cells will be used to compensate the missing energy (calories). That's how your body works. There are other things to consider as well, such as hormonal status, diseases... but caloric deficit is a must. You have a lot of online diet planners and calculators... For example prodietbuddy or dietarizee... Losing weight is just a simple math, really...

Put all your food into myfitnesspal the day before. You know whats in your fridge and what meals you usually have.. makes it easier and hard to over eat or eat junk

You can really easily spice up a lot of dishes and make them taste amazing with the right amount of pepper and salt. Learning which spices to use is super easy and very rewarding

Thank you for solidly addressing drinking alcohol. That's my downfall, not food. I love coming home at night after work/working out and tipping a few! Controlling food is no problem, but I don't want to go without a bit of anesthesia.

That was GREAT! I don't remember the #, but the tip to choose what you will order at the restaurant stands out. Also LOVE the opportunity to eat pasta. I have avoided carbs as though they are poison,

Didn't get the calories part.... fitness tracker only counts those burnt in exercises, walking etc but not those due to body's natural metabolic rate to maintain basic body functions....
