After the death of our son I started eating, as a self medication, and gained a lot of weight. Now I am on the journey to changing my life and getting healthy again. With diet and exercise I hope to reach my goal weight. I invite you to come along with me on this journey. If you are new to this adventure, check my playlist and start at the begining.

Week 4 is complete and here are the results:

Starting Weight: 219.5 lbs. (July 4th, 2024)
Week 9 Weight: 207.7 lbs (1.1 lbs. loss)
Total loss: 11.8 lbs

Cry all you need. You lost a child. Theres no sorry for yourself in that. You need to let it out. Youre doing great with your wt loss journey. You both are on a journey and its not easy but you keep going at it. You both got this. 💪I am praying for your family. 🙏❤️❤️

Not all is lost or gained in a week. Give yourself grace for this difficult time. Kudos for you for keeping up the steps and push ups. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

Fasting is okay. It won't hurt unless you have something wrong with your blood sugar. Intermittent fasting is a way to half-fast all the time. You only eat for a certain duration of the day, and then you don't eat the rest of the day. There's plenty of information online about it.

I’ve been told fasting isn’t good at all . Your body stores fat when you stop eating. Don’t be to tough on yourself Alec . It’s not easy losing your children. Take care and thanks for sharing! 👍😁🙏
