Soothe anxiety with this guided 10 minute calming meditation for beginners.

Hey yogis, this week I'm offering you a brand new affirmation meditation for stress relief and anxiety. I know 2020 has been rough and you might be feeling a bit more stressed and ungrounded than normal. Hopefully this simple 10 minute guided meditation will calm your nervous system and help you alleviate anxiety.

You can do this seated or laying down. As you listen to the positive affirmations, simply repeat them internally to yourself and notice how they make you feel. I always encourage journaling afterwards to see what came up for you. This would also be a great affirmation meditation to do before bed or just upon waking up in the morning.

I am so thankful for the good in my life
I am more and more calm with each deep breath i take
I am attracting positive energy into my body

My tension is melting away
I deserve a peaceful and loving life
I am capable of solving any problems that i face
I allow myself to slowdown and live in the present moment
There are some thing i cant change and I'm okay with that.

i was recently diagnosed with a pseudoaneurysm and that word alone sent me in a spiral of sadness and depression. Having some medical knowledge does not always bode well. thankfully, I remembered that i have survived a stroke and other events that were meant to kill me but here i still stand. thanks to yoga and meditation i will continue to strive. What hit the most is the affirmation " i accept there are some things that i can not change and I'm okay with that". but thankfully there is a solution. Always have been chronically stubborn especially when advocating for myself.
