The Top 10 reasons You Should NOT move to Australia and the worst things you NEED to know before moving to Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth!

What's it like living in Australia? Well, for starters, it's a GIANT Island Continent surrounded by the Indian and Pacific Ocean, and also one of the Top 10 BEST countries to live in the World! A big reason for that is the stunning nature. From Bondi Beach to Uluru to the Great Barrier Reef to Surfer's Paradise to Kakadu National Park and Tasmania, the 6th largest country is beautiful and features tons of unique wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas, emus, echidna, platypus, and wombats!
Now while there are some similarities to the United States of America, there are also a LOT of differences, so hopefully this list helps new immigrants! If The Land Down Under is one of the safest and happiest countries in the world with some of the best cities to live in the World such as Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Cairns, and Canberra, then why shouldn't you live in Australia?

Thanks for watching From Here to There! This is one of my top ten videos where we explain things about the world, it's history, and geography, starting with the different states, cities, and towns in the United States. Find out the worst and best places to live in 2020!

The fact that Australia is so isolated from the rest of the world is a huge bonus in my opinion

I’m Italian and I moved to live in Australia with my two daughters, three years ago, because I wanted to give to my two daughters a better and safer future to them and I did it.. here it’s very safe and there are a lot opportunities of job. I miss Italy for my culture, traditions and food, but I’m happy for my two daughters, for theirs future and the nature here is amazing !

I hate when other countries talk about Australia when they haven’t been, it’s not like that!

In a Covid-19 world, we love how isolated we are.

I remember being an Australian exchange student in the US and when it ended they all asked why I was going back to Australia. I tried to tell them it was my country and I wanted to go home but they wouldn’t have it. “ but you could stay in America”! they kept saying in total disbelief that people can lead great lives elsewhere snd not want to stay in the USA

I moved to Australia 11 years ago. I've been to the US, lived there for a month. No way I'm going to choose the US over Australia.

And only 909 deaths from COVID.
Isolation doesn't look so bad now does it.

I’m an Aussie,
1) it’s pronounced Aussie like “Auzzy”
2) wildlife is fine, only stupid people would provoke them
3) fires are usually a bad thing BUT we have fires to help the bush grow, it’s so the seeds or whatever replant
4) the isolation is a good thing with covid and all
5) you get used to the heat
6) the internet can be trash but it’s usually fine
this video was full of a bunch of stereotypes that have been listed by so many americans NOT australian’s. Bet steve irwin would be disgusted by this video. can we not let americans try and decide what other countries are like until they properly understand it’s culture

I have never heard of another Aussie complain about feeling 'isolated' lmao, just a few hours of flight time isn't something to cry over

I'm a yank and came to Australia for a visit in the mid 1970's... and never left.
This is a terrific country and is not nearly as dangerous as most Americans are led to believe. American beaches have their fill of sharks too and I'd rather face off with a kangaroo in the bush than a bear in the woods. Sure it gets hot here in summer but Sydney had one day over 40C last summer and we don't get snow except in the mountains. I'll take the heat over snow and ice any day....
Shops are open much more often than this vid leads you to believe and bars restaurants are of course open late. One gets used to the long flights to rejoin the world, which is a small price to pay to avoid the constant social and political problems of the Northern Hemisphere.
Best of all Australians are kind, fun, funny and have a terrific sense of fairness, and they actually like each other instead of tearing each other apart. There's very low crime, almost zero gun violence, and so much less paranoia than in US cities.
I'll take my risk with the spiders, snakes, and swimming with sharks anyday over getting killed by some random fool with a gun...
Cheers.

I am an Australian now been living in Canada since 1956. I came here because I was a Aeronautical Engineer and the aircraft industry was way better than in Australia. The 2 countries are similar in that they are big with most of their populations being bottled in very small areas due to the climates ie too hot or too cold . Never the less they are both great places to live and since I married a nice Canadian nurse altho I’m sure there was a nice Australian nurse in Australian there to so made my family here.
