I went on vacation about 13 years ago to Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. I really liked Iowa. It’s not flat, has beautiful scenery and very nice people. We found plenty of things to do. Iowans, be proud of your state.

Drove through Iowa and stopped at a gas station and needed to microwave my lunch from home. The nice cashier lady took my food in the back and heated it up for me. Wonderful people.

I moved here from Montana. Living here is not as expensive as Cali, NY, or just about any seacoast state. I can walk down the street on a summer night and NOT have to worry about getting mugged. The air is CLEAN and so is the water. I'd rather do my skydiving in a "flat" state than a "hilly" one. My local cops smile and wave a greeting as I ride my Harley by. You don't know what EXCITEMENT is until you've attended a farm combine demolition derby. My local county park has FOUR shooting ranges. Absolute strangers pass on the street and say HI and ask how are things going. FLOODS ??? I'll take an occasional FLOOD any day over CHRONIC DROUGHT, WATER SHORTAGES and FOREST FIRES. People KNOW how to drive in SNOW; not like South of the Mason-Dixon Line. LASTLY, if there was a mass exodus from Iowa, how much do you think wheat, soybeans, corn, milk and other Farmed commodities would cost YOU. Before you make a BIGGER fool of yourself, try thinking more and talking less !

I moved to Iowa in 1979 with my husband, who refused to live anywhere else. This video is pure manure. The state is absolutely beautiful filled with innovative compassionate, well educated people. I live less than a mile from high tech business, farmland, concert venues, and super cultural events. We live well without traffic jams, or long lines. I have visited LA, NYC, and Chicago often and I'm always so glad to return to the land of sanity.
Videos like this merely show the ignorance and narrow mindedness of coastal prejudice.
