The Top 10 reasons You Should NOT move to Denver, Colorado and the worst things you NEED to know about moving to Colorado Springs or Boulder instead.

What's it like living in Denver? Well first off, the elevation is higher than most cities at 5,280 feet above sea level and it's located right next to the beautiful front range of the Rocky Mountains. The weather here is crazy and gets very cold with lots of snow but also very hot and dry in the Summer. It's actually the largest city in Colorado, and along with Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder and other secluded mountain towns, one of the best cities to live in America. A lot of people are moving from California and Texas to the Mile High City, making it one of the fastest growing and most expensive cities in the United States. If the Centennial State has the #1 economy, why shouldn't you live in Denver, CO?

Thanks for watching From Here to There! This is one of my top ten videos where we explain things about the world, it's history, and geography, starting with the different states, cities, and towns in the United States. Find out the worst and best places to live in 2019!

As a Denver native, I can say that there are a lot of people who have moved here who do not play nice. They
don't seem to understand the They litter like it is a god given right. There are a lot of aggressive
drivers who always seem to be in a hurry. Denver is popular now so there are a lot of trendies. The traffic is
an issue. We are welcoming here but we guard our resources with fierce devotion. There are a lot of people
who have moved here who show little to no respect for the natural world. They just don't get it. These type of
people simply do not is a lot like being a house guest. Relax, have a good time but show respect.

As a Denver resident, the one thing this guy is totally missing is the HOMELESS. The city is crawling with the mentally ill/drug addicts. I know that is a problem for most cities, but I have traveled to a lot of other cities in the US and Europe, and Denver has one of the worst homeless problems I have seen.

Denver has been a magnet for the same kind of losers that have ruined Seattle and Portland.

I moved here from Texas in 11-2009. I had no trouble adjusting to the altitude. After living in Houston for 28 years, I have no complaints about the Denver weather. In Houston, summer runs from March to November. You don't know what you will get from December to February, but I will tell you this: with Houston just 90 minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico, the worst blizzard in Denver is a cakewalk compared to what happens when the temp in Houston drops below freezing. When that happens, you do not leave the house! Denver is not isolated-Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Greeley, Boulder-they are all growing. I do not care about beaches.

The money from weed doesn't go to public schools. That's one of the biggest problems with our politicans here.

I’ve seen my old 2 bedroom apartment go from 650 a month to 1, 400.

I’ve seen I-25 and I-70 go from lightly packed to several hour traffic jams.

Lastly I’ve seen the amount of accidents in snow increase significantly.

Please stop moving here.

You forgot massive gentrification. People who are native here are being displaced by businesses and developers, tearing down classic homes with beautiful architecture and replaced with obnoxious condos to fit out of towners who have no respect for this city or it's culture.

The Weed boom is over, look to other cities that are about to legalize soon.

Also, the high homeless population. Mostly people who moved here thinking they were going to immediately get a job in the green business but got a rude awakening due to the competition for the jobs and the mandatory licensing which is expensive and extremely thorough in it's vetting process.

Denver: It can take you 45 minutes to drive across town.

Phoenix: Hold my beer.
