It's also, along with Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe and other Phoenix Suburbs, one of the fastest growing cities in America. If so many people are moving to the Grand Canyon State, then why shouldn't you live in Phoenix, AZ?

These are all super accurate and correct traits of Phoenix, as someone who lives here. I feel like all the pride that people try to take in living here is all artificial, and just an effort to self-soothe while they’re enduring 120° heat. It’s not a terrible place, but I wouldn’t ever think of it as a city in the way other places are cities.

Here’s a top 5 to NOT live in Phoenix by a guy who lives in Phoenix.

1. You’re a normie who can’t handle the heat for 4 months and consider anything above 80 degrees to be hell on Earth.

2. Driving 20 minutes or more to destinations is considered “too far” for you and you don’t have time management skills to properly do anything worthwhile.

3. If you can’t handle being roasted by every walk of life and take things personally, you DEFINITELY don’t want to move here.

4. You hate all forms of music.

5. If you’re racist, shit is NOT going to be fun for you. Phoenix hosts a diverse population of different backgrounds and ethnicities and if brown people get your nuts in a twist, it’s best if you stay clear of this cesspool.
