Best Exercise to GROW your SHOULDERS!

If you want bigger shoulders, it's no secret that you need to train the medial delt. And to do that, the lateral raise is arguably the most effective exercise to perform. However, I've noticed significant growth by incorporating drop sets after my normal set of lateral raises. To do this, start by doing a normal set for 12-15 reps, then drop the weight in half and rep out as many as you can until failure. I usually do this for a total of 4 sets, 1 set being the 12-15 reps AND the reps to failure. 1 minute rest in between, and you're guaranteed to feel the burn!

Try it out for some bigger and broader shoulders and let me know how it goes! #Shorts #Gym

I’ve taken after Derek and started “surfing the rack” with my lateral raises. I go all the way down to the lightest dumbbells that I have. I’ve seen pretty good results so far.

Been doing this shit for years. Lean forward for perfection.

Completely agree with this!

You can get in a fantastic amount of volume/tonnage in a short time. Shoulders just need more volume in general, so drop sets are perfect to hit that threshold without having to be in the gym for too long.

You could even take it a step further and drop set with 3 sets instead of 2;

First set 12-15 reps
Second set 30% less than first set to failure
Third set 30% less than second set to failure
60 second rest, rinse and repeat 3-4 times

This is solid advice. If you're an enhanced lifter add 2 or 3 sets to this

I love these as an exercise however I believe the overhead press is superior to growing them. Get the added benefits of all the other muscles you're hitting in the process.

I always do drop sets when I'm hitting the shoulders. Side raises 7.5 kg dumbbells, then 5 kgs, then 2.5 till failure.

if u want to build endurance light weights are good but i would suggest to do like 8-10 reps with a good enough weight for 4 sets and like 4 reps on ur max weight that u can do. This will increase muscle mass way more

4 times in one session. Goddamn how long do you work out? Weight lifting videos always give me more questions than the answers. So overwhelming.
