I'm 70 years old and have been running for just a little over 48 1/2 years. Running benefits me physically, mentally and spiritually. I love it !

I ran 2 km every day
In a month my face pimples vanished
I started focusing a lot
My belly fat vanished
I feel energetic everytime
My sleeping habit changed.
And all of this got ruined thanks to coronavirus. Now i'm a total junk

The more you challenge yourself physically, more your brain's muscle memory get used to facing challenges. And with my experience of exercising I can tell that it really create charisma even for your brain's muscles too

Staying caged up in my house made me feel lifeless, after going on long walks in a spacious park for 20 mins, i feel so refreshed and felt more alive. Walking helps me with my sadness. ;)

If lifting and brain function were directly linked, Einstein would have a 6pack

This can vary because it has been shown that exercising after 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. gives our body the capacity to increase stamina, endurance, and strength overall. Simply put, If we exercise during that given time, we are likely to keep up with activities as opposed to starting early in the morning, which could be exhausting and not as appealing as one might think. but that can differ from person to person 🙂

Very informative video. Be careful of what you feed your mind. Reduce negative thoughts and overthinking. Avoid comparing with others, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Observe your breath sensations before sleep, in college, at work, taking a walk, when reading, etc.etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.

Dr. Suzuki!! She's awesome!!! 😀 So now I know, if I want to be sharp, exercise in the morning. But if I don't need to be sharp, a walk during late afternoon while a beautiful sunset takes place is ok. 😀

This is great, I'm a software engineer and want to maximize my work output and was looking to find some exercises....funny thing😊was doing this regularly for the last few years but this last couple of months I have lost the consistency so this is great motivation to get me back into that zone 2 cardio 4-5 days a week.
