Here are 10 Tips to help break through your plateau and lose the last 5-10 pounds. These tips are also applicable to those of you who are heading towards or are looking to maintain your current weight.

1 increase an intensity of work-out. (e.g. interval training, jump squat) for 'after-burn' effect: intensity 20-30 min is more important than length (moderate jogging). <- this part is different from a medical doctor's advise.
2 switch your workouts - completely different
3 muscle exercise twice per week instead of cardio
4 cut 100-150 cal
5 alternate high and low cal
6 limit starch before and after workout
7 reduce meat -> fish, tofu, chicken
8 rest & sleep for 8-10 hours
9 stand and walk effortlessly
10 stop obsession

When am I gonna stop caring about weight and at whatever I want like my friends :( all my friends eat whatever they want and never gain weight and they don't exercise weakly but me I have to diet and exercise that makes me so sad :(

Thank you Joanna for this video. You make so much sense!  I have lost 35 lbs in the last 9 months just through cutting carbs and exercise.  I've been discouraged lately because weight/height charts keeps telling me I need to lose 10-15 more to be within my perfect weight range.  I feel good where I am and wonder how these charts can possibly determine my fat vs muscle ratio, build and bone structure.  Your video validates what I've been feeling in that my "ideal" weight might just be what I weigh now which I've comfortably been able to maintain for the last 3 months.  I could cut that additional 150-200 calories or increase my exercise intensity and lose a few more lbs, but I'm not sure I can keep that up long term to keep it off.  Your video is very helpful.

What a great explanation! I am seven years late but better late than never :D Thank you for this video, it is really helpful! I have been at a plateau weight the last 9 years or so. I am not really thin but also not chubby, I just have this extra 10 pounds. On some days I look really slim and toned and on other days I seem to be more "chubby" somehow... I am trying to loose those extra 7-10 pounds and to tone up and become more stronger, so I will definitely try these methods :)

you have really inspired me, have been on a healthier diet for a while and reached a hurdle..have been frustrated. I began to do cardio excercise (jogging 20-30 min, cycling 10-15 min) and would finish with some weight lifting. but now only doing the cardio exercises mentioned above as i still need to lose weight and dont want to start building muscle yet.  I am  175 cm and weight 57 kg at the moment. Please would appreciate some advise as i really feel lost
