How much pain should patients expect after bunion reconstruction surgery?

A lot. The first 72 hours are the worst and the pain can be well controlled with oral medications. But foot surgery is generally considered in the top 10 most painful surgeries.

Ive just had bunion surgery,
The pain n discomfort lasted for around 3 weeks.. recovery depends if any nerves have been injured during your operation.. regardless of the sleep deprivation pain n suffering it was worth it, my foot looks and feels much better glad i proceeded with the surgery, i would recommend to anyone suffering with a bunion My foot was a mess before but now it looks like a normal foot. My surgeon did a great job 😊 talk about boostijg self esteem and confidence and also being pain free 😊😊😊
