We were in Iceland in May of this year and absolutely fell in love with it, and are planning a return trip. The food is amazing, well, except for the fermented shark, which was nasty!! The lobster soup in Iceland is amazing! Our favourite spot was the SeaBaron! Loved the hotdogs from the oldest hotdog stand in Iceland. Fish and chips are a must in Iceland too! We didn't try the rye bread icecream because when it was on the menu we were too full after our dinner! However we did find a fantastic ice cream shop by the harbour near the Omm Nomm Chocolate factory, which had the most amazing licorice ice cream! Can't wait to return to Iceland, such an amazing place, with fantastic and friendly people! <3
