TLDR: Ozempic is a medication that can be used to treat diabetes, obesity, and prevent cardiovascular disorders, but it may cause changes in bowel movements and should be administered on the same day each week.

00:00 💊 Ozempic may cause changes in bowel movements, with diarrhea or constipation occurring between 8.5-30% and 3.5-24% of the time respectively, depending on the purpose of use.
00:38 💡 Ozempic can be used to treat obesity and prevent cardiovascular disorders in patients with diabetes, in addition to treating diabetes itself.
01:04 💡 Ozempic is being recognized for its use in weight management, and it should be administered on the same day each week.
01:21 💉 Change the day of administration weekly, do not share pens, and if you miss a dose, take it within 5 days or wait for the next scheduled dose.

Can you explain why the dosing is the same for everyone regardless of size/weight. This just doesn't make sense to me. I'm a small woman under 5"3 and my husband is 6"2. Yet we would take the same amount? How do the pharmaceutical companies justify that we all start with the same dose?

Rx drugs are full of toxic ingredients that cause more problems. I am a 54 yr old avid exerciser that weighs 160 lbs at 5'9". I have had really high blood pressure for well over a decade that no medical provider could explain that made sense. I had been on an anti-depressant since age 30. Last year I slowly weaned off the anti-depressant and now my blood pressure is well into healthy levels. It was spiked due to the medication. Explain that to me in a way that makes sense. The reason these weight loss drugs seem to help with other health problems is because ppl aren't eating a bunch of the toxic garbage called food these days. There are reports that longer term users are experiencing permanent diarrhea even after stopping these drugs. And that's not even the worst of it either. Worth the risk?

Yet, there is no remedy for stopping or slowing the diarrhea (at least none that I know of to date) Frustrating
