On the contrary, large muscles recover very slowly, unlike small ones.

Large muscles don't recover super fast and niether does the CNS from intense compound movements. So, if you are going to do them everyday, keep it a daily light load and increase very gradually over a long period of time. This is a minimal effort kind of way to build strength over time if you aren't in a hurry. Even then, it doesnt need to be every day and it is good to have days off. It also creates less risk for joint injury.

What bodyweight exercises can i do for my back without pullups to progress to them because I can't do them yet and i dont have resistance bands yet and i don't know if towels would work too as a pullup assistant i can do like 120-130 on lat pulldown so i guess i can almost do a pullup I'm 142 but I can't even do a half pullup to hold myself there so idk what to do
