Last year, I could barely do 1 pull up. I got more serious with calisthenics this year and now I can do 11 strict pull ups. I’m just proud of myself because I was never serious about getting fit/going to the gym. I also gotta thank the gym homies for helping me out. 🙏🏼

I did this but at the first round where I did my max pull ups I got fatigue and couldn't continue for 2 more max sets

Usmc boot camp, every meal you max out pull ups or chin ups. Gained 60 pounds .

I think even if you can do more than 10 pull ups this would still be a great wat to increase the reps

4 times a week until failure? I will need a video on faster recovery to to that. I'm in my 40s. I used to go hard like that. I got too many injuries. Now I only do light weight. No muscle failure stuff. Also I now only work the whole body once per week. One group each day. I look better. I feel better. Best yet, no injuries. Only progress. Yes, there are many other factors to include like diet and rest. I've gone through decades of trial and error. 4 times a week might be good for some, not everyone. Listen to your body. We got this! 👍💪🙏

Not bad my man! For beginners, I would recommend not going all the way down and go back up mid way down so that way you don’t use too much core to pull yourself back up. It’s the core that a lot beginners lack when doing something like this.

Okay I saw this and did this for a month and I can confirm it increased my chin ups from 3 to 8! Highly recommend
