60 Minute Yoga Nidra to Support Physical Health and Deep Healing

Rest back into this nourishing and deeply nourishing yoga nidra practice for the physical body. This practice is specifically designed to bring mindful awareness into the physical body, Anamaya Kosha, to promote physical healing and overall health and wellbeing. Simply rest back into a sense of your true nature, pure awareness itself and strengthen a greater sense of resiliency to be fully present and more at ease with what is happening within and without.

As a sleep based meditation, yoga nidra gives you access to delta brainwaves that are responsible for healing and restoration of the physical body that occurs during deep sleep. Studies have shown that yoga nidra can be a helpful tool in reducing the physiological effects of stress and anxiety by increasing the release of oxytocin, a hormone that helps to reduce pain and induce feelings of calm and contentment. Where the awareness goes, the energy flows, and this practice is an opportunity to disconnect from the thinking mind and bring awareness to the sensations already present in the body to direct the flow of energy and healing to where it is needed the most.

This specialized yoga nidra practice takes you through a detailed guided body scan to bring awareness to each region of the body to direct the flow of energy, circulation, and healing. Imagine your awareness like a healing lavender aromatherapy massage, releasing tension from the muscles and deep tissues as awareness flows throughout the body.

A hernia is causing problems in my left leg, through this 60 min. I got extra energy and movements in my right leg, at the end, the warmth of two blankets was to strong, I had to put them away, the was a strong vision of my spirit inside of my body which was like an ayahuasca vision. I'm in a healing proces with gyropractor osthepathy acupuncture pain relievers taking much rest, Nidra yoga is a gift from heaven. Thank you so much Krystyn Rose Foster .. Valal du Pon..

Namaste! I practiced this at 4 A.M. on September 20, 2023.

It was exactly what I needed. The deliberate tension and relaxation followed by the longer rotation of conscious awareness relaxed me deeply when the house was too warm to fall back asleep. I was in and out of sleep by the time the right knee was mentioned.

Hi Kristyn, absolutely love your yoga Nidras. They are one of my favorite parts of my day as I work on recovering from Cfs. I also have fibromyalgia and wondered about a yoga nidra for that or chronic pain? Also for releasing grief - even in the form of missing so much of life as you work on recovery ❤
