Oh man, the fear of succeeding is so relatable. Fear of not being invisible anymore, fear of unwanted attention. It’s real

Shifting my mind from less food/tons of cardio, to more food/weight training, is so much harder than I had expected.

Great video, my only (hopefully constructive) criticism would be the '4-6-8 weeks and you will see visible differences' line - because for the most part, it takes months and months to build enough muscle to be able to actually see it. Because of this trope, people erroneously believe that fat loss and muscle building can be done 'fast' when it categorically cannot. If we made it more clear that they both take lots of time, maybe people won't be so disheartened after a few weeks of 'not seeing progress'! x

Ahh girl I found you when I started my fitness journey 2 years ago and I feel so amazing now! I've built enough muscle to look more toned and can be at a consistent maintenance level. It's so cool to know what I need to do if I ever want to lose a little extra fat, or just let myself indulge once in a while! I'm happy that I've found a long lasting way to keep myself in shape and healthy.

Excellent advice. Spot on advice by April. Muscle matters and looks great, and you feel fantastic. 100 gr protein in 3 meals over 8-9 hour window. Limit carbs to non-starchy veggies, low sugar fruit (avocado, berries). Must do resistance training.

Even though I am 5' 9" this is still very helpful even if the advise was intended for petite people. Thanks for the tough love!

April, thank you so much for doing what you do. I found this channel about 6 months ago when I felt terrible about eating 1, 500 calories and was really scared to go to the gym, but you brought me the motivation I needed to start a workout routine and form a healthy relationship with food. I actually made a new playlist on YouTube when I found you, titled "I Needed This". Thank you much, you're an inspiration ♥️
