And doesn’t someone need to take the first step to invest something if anything is ever going to happen?”

I'd love for Matt to address this: The only guys who seem interested in investing are guys whom I'm not attracted to. So I tell them I'm not interested. Then, I find a few men who I am actually attracted to and they don't really want to invest. So I end up chasing a little until I realize that's what's happening and I stop. It's just frustrating. I have my life together in so many ways, so I want a partner who's in the same place. I've been ready to commit for years, but the men around me seem to be content with a never-ending cycle of honeymoon phases. Once they realize that they're going to have to communicate, compromise, and even change a little bit, they're out - because they can find another slightly younger and less wiser female who will go through the cycle with them all over again.

Courting someone is you investing a bit in them, and they invest a bit in you, doesn't matter who makes the first move.
And for sure only continue so as long as you're getting the return, almost like any business deal 😂

I always find myself back here rewatching this video to remind myself not to invest in someone who isn't willing to invest in me. My energy has been sucked dry and now that I have ended things I'm regaining it back! Know your worth people. There are better people out there who will appreciate you and what you have to offer.
