My constipation doesn’t stop me from going. It just causes my stool to get really hard and large…causing massive painful hemorrhoids because my butt hole doesn’t open wide enough to let it out.

Edit two years later: turns out I never had hemorrhoids, but instead I had an anal fissure. Not sure which is worse, but that thing was ultra-painful when it burst open. With years of work, I’ve gotten it to 95% heal, but it’s still there just to remind me that my butt is not to be messed with. With better eating habits, a jar of Pranicura, and always having a bottle of Miralax on hand, I’ve managed to get it to a point where I’m never feeling like I’m pooping shards of glass anymore.

I ended up in the emergency room after eating too much fiber. Felt like I was dying and very well could have been close to it. I didn't know that you need a lot of liquids to go with it.

Nuts and seeds also contribute to constipation.
Fibre content is the food for bad bacteria that leads to constipation. So it is advisable to take probiotics with fibre

You can't talk about heavily processed food on the one hand, then mention 'soya milk' on the other. It's about as processed as you can get, like 'vegetable' oils.

Yes! Unripe bananas are a problem. I don't think milk (skim milk) is a problem for me. I eat very high fiber cereal with milk each morning. Normally I'm regular. Agree with everything else.

This video got a lot of mismedical info. For starter, pooping three times a week is not defined as constipation. Constipation is when your stool is hard and you have to strain, even if you are pooping 2-3 times a day.

Red meat eaten by itself alone is digested almost completely and it doesn't need any fiber to "move along".

Milk makes me go. Meat I don't have a problem with. Vegetables help me go. It's bread and french fries I think that are the problem.
