I sure wish Doctor would learn to say "Simple" Carbohydrates. I don't think our brains are at risk from kale or broccoli loading.

I hope he really didn't say, "I'm #1 brain expert, " as shown on the thumbnail. When other poeple say that you're #1, it is most likely perceived to be true. But when you, yourself, say that you're #1, that is just egotistical self-promotion, and not likely to be true. Dr. Amen did not say he's #1 in this video, so I hope and think that it probably was just clickbait.

They keep telling people to cut out salt. I had a blood test done and my doctor asked me how much salt I had in my diet. Told him very little. He told me to start using more salt as no sodium whatsoever was detected in my system, told me “you need some”. Didn’t realise until I started eating salt again that I could no longer taste salt until my levels went up.

When videos such as this over state the dangers of small amounts of artificial sweeteners, an occasional drink etc they cause more harm. People dismiss the valid part of the discussion because of their sensationalism and exaggerated claims without supporting data.

I think he's wrong about dairy products. My father and his brother were raised with a lot of dairy and they were very intelligent, tall men who were sharp till the end of their life. Passed away at 84 and 93 years old.
They probably consumed less dairy later in life but yoghurt and yellow cheese were part of their diet till the end.

Again the nonsense with the dairy! Yes, raw milk is a health risk, but fermented milk is not. There are so many types of cheese to choose from. O.k. maybe not what passes as cheese in the US by FDA guidelines.

I've been consuming more salt because I've gone carnivore. My blood pressure was just checked today at 108/55. So salt does not raise your(at least my) blood pressure 😊
