I would straighten the arms.
Less wrist pressure/injury risks.
Cleaner and harder.

just work on basics like weighted push ups, dips for 2~4 years just grind it and after doing basic you will very easily learn these skills(my friend learned planche in 3months after basic)

I used to be able to do pushups when i was like 7 then i got a little heavier and weaker because im skinnier than a stick and i can't even do 1 pushup without feeling like my shoulders are gonna rip apart when i get up

So pissed off with myself. Used to do 40 push ups a day that were clean morning and night. Took me a good month to be able to get to that stage..just tried 10 push ups my shoulders, wrists and arms are feeling incredibly sore. Now i gotta start again.
