For the voice inside that says you desire or need yoga but you just…can’t…get… your energy right to begin. I made this practice for those days.

And believe me, I know there are many.

This session begins with stabilizing and strengthening side-lying work. Then we will implement some of my favorite postures and breath for the spine, for the digestive organs, and for the nervous system. Start on empty; it’s okay!

This session was made to help change your energetic state while getting you moving in a forward direction. You got this. Yoga works. I am here to help!

I had the worst week as I was on the verge of dissociating for a few days in a row, for some reason I decided to go back to some Yoga with Adrienne (I'm always on and off again). At the end of this practice I found myself crying, for the first time in the week I felt "real ", I felt grounded, and it was like meeting an old friend. So if you're struggling and by some chance find this comment, I see you, we see you. You're here. You're real. And I'm glad you're alive.❤

The past weeks were hard for me. Life happens, right?! So, I told myself to keep showing up for my yoga practice, which I did. I'm getting there, slowly but surely. I needed this practice, I suppose I was asking for it. Thank you so much to remind me that I have control over my thoughts, my actions and my emotions, and that I can change my energetic state even when times seem to be working counterclockwise. Love and light to you and all the people in this community.

I had no intention of doing a 20 minute yoga practice and then it was like Adriene read my mind and knew I was not motivated :) Thank you for an amazing energy-restoring practice (and shout out to the 1200 people practising at the same time!)

16 March 2024 - Woohoo, made it to the mat today! I must admit I love the fact that you have catered for us unmotivated, Adriene, thank you! 💕 It makes it easier to get back into a habit of taking the time out of the day to practice. See you tomorrow x

I’m 26 years old and always thought yoga was “silly”. I’m recently battling an annoying dose of depression and anxiety, willing to try anything I googled yoga for anxiety and found one of your videos. I am now a believer. Thank you for helping me lock in for 20 minutes and forgetting about everything but me. I will be back daily.

November 2023! Dealing with a C-PTSD flare up, trying to support myself with a daily YWA these last few weeks but wasn't even sure I'd make it out of bed today. After some doomscrolling and spinning out, decided to give it a go. I found this video and started it lying on my mattress under the covers -- by the end of it made it to the ground on the mat <3 thank you so so so much the safest space on YT & having our backs irl I'm sobbing

I had been feeling a little sad after 2 of my friends moved to another city yesterday. I dropped them at the airport. While coming back I felt like my soul was splitting into pieces. I felt so much pain, sadness and anger too.
But I remember Adrienne advice that my breath always there to support me. I felt my breathe & allowed myself to feel all the pain of parting away. I also know that I feel too much & they might as well have moved on by now. But I don't wanna blame them. I think I am lucky to be emotionally sensitive & even though sometimes It's painful but I also feel the joy too very much.

Adriene, you’re such a life changer! I’m well on the way into this month, making it ONE YEAR and three months of consistent daily practice, all thanks to you! This is coming from a notorious quitter and excuse maker. It’s leaking into every day life too. I’m committing and persevering with all sorts of things now, because yoga has given me the confident that I can handle anything! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into us 💕

This was perfect for me today 💝 My little 15 year old pup who is almost completely blind and deaf likes to lay at the top of my mat so he knows where I am. He was most confused by the toe tapping as he could feel the vibration but I think he liked it 💞

You have no idea how much I needed this today 😭🙏I've been crying my body out all day and started to spiral - talk about wringing out a rag! - I knew I needed to get moving on the mat but needed a gentle start. Exhale Day 19 and I'm not unmotivated, but I woke up to cramping. Pain is a motivator for me to yoga and this was just the slow introduction I needed today. Thank you!
