Day 5, oh baby! Our Day 5 practice is such a beauty. This practice reminds us how the way we carry our body can resemble or represent  our innermost feelings. This session is also a guided invitation to make it your own, be intentional about the way you show up to move and breathe. Can you be gentle? Can you trust the wisdom of your body? The physical branch of yoga offers us the chance to better understand and get to know ourselves. 

Continue to show up for practice and focus on how you do so. It’s all happening. ✨

Hi everyone. A yoga quote I heard recently and hold close is: " Yoga is not about touching your toes but what you learn on your way down." My 3 year old joined in today. He loves dogs and asked what Benji's name was. He then started singing BINGO, but I helped him align the song with our practice and we sang 'There was a yogi who had a dog and Benji was his name-o'. Namaste Benji and Adriene.

I’m highly emotional during this Flow journey because my dad has been in the hospital ICU a little over a week. Each time I get on the mat I find myself in tears, but you’re helping me relax through this very difficult time. Thank you Adriene❤️

It is January 20th and I am on Day 5. I am proud of myself for having shown up at the mat today because I really really didn't want to. But here I am, feeling more grounded and relaxed at the end of the practice. Shoutout to everyone who has started it later or is catching up days later - I see you and I appreciate you!

Thriving on day five! Just finished. Today’s session flew by! Have never ever done 5 days in a row of yoga. Today I was walking and happened to touch my mid thigh and it felt as hard as a brick, such muscle tone! That’s from 4 days! Yahoo! And I’m a young 74 years old. This is saving my body and spirit.😅

It’s snowing here so I took my mat to the window and opened the blinds. I lit some good smelling candles. Today is a good day to cozy up inside 😊

I’m in my 50s and I regret not knowing you long time ago..! What I experienced and feel is beyond words.. thank you is not enough.. my promise to you that I will continue doing Yoga for the rest of my life and invite all my friends and family to your channel..

Had a hard time showing up on such a grey, windy morning today. Settling into my breath felt so much harder than normal. Nonetheless I DID show up. Proud of everyone who’s made it to Day 5

This time last year I wasn't fully recovered yet from an eating disorder and I found the parts where we lie still to be really difficult - I felt like yoga needed to be a workout 100% of the time. This year, I'm better able to relax. Putting my hand on my belly is a little uncomfortable, but it's going to be good for me and help me reconnect with my body. I'm so grateful for this series to bring me even further on my journey ❤

High five, everyone! We're awesome. ❤ Started my day annoyed at boyfriend for waking me up with his (insane!) snoring, but knew I had another day of yoga to look forward to, so got up, lit all the candles and (gently) jumped on the mat.

PS: No boyfriend was harmed. He's still fast asleep.😂❤

I needed this today. The anxieties in my brain and the noise of the outside world are overtaking me a bit, but the sanctuary of this practice, particularly connecting to my breath and "finding what felt good", was so healing. Thank you Adriene and have a great day everyone! We've done FIVE days! ❤

I told myself I'd write here every day for the whole 30 day journey, to say thank you to myself for getting to the mat each day, to say thank you to all of you out there doing the thing too, and to say thank you to Adriene for always being amazing and giving so much to all of us❤Day 5 in the books! I really needed all of that movement in the rib cage today, so it was perfect! See y'all tomorrow!
