Welcome to day 6 of the 30 Day Improvers Challenge. Today's 45 min yoga flow includes a recap of the peak poses and sequences from the first 5 days of the yoga challenge so far.

In today's class we will revisit Crow Pose, Tripod Headstand, Supported Headstand and Wheel, along with the sequences that we have been practicing in the challenge so far. This is an opportunity to go over what we have covered, familiarise yourself with the poses and hopefully surprise yourself with what you are capable of.

I hope you enjoy day 6 of the challenge.

I saw 45 minutes in the title and I thought to myself “I do NOT think I can do 45 after yesterday’s practice!”, but it really felt like 15 minutes. I loved the reading portion and the meditation. Looking forward to continuing this challenge!

A tip for headstand - after trying it once following along with Charlie, pause the video, put on your favourite song and try twice more. I find the first try I am still warming up but by the third time I can do it 🥳. Thanks for another amazing class Charlie 😍

A week ago i'd laugh for any suggestions I could do a headstand, and now... I'm so excited and happy and grateful for your perfect guidance and my strength and courage to try something totally new to me.

Oh my gosh! I always thought headstand was out of the realm of possibilities, but with the tripod option today my head was on the ground and my feet were off the ground!! Amazing Charlie for the week of progressions to get us here. Feeling encouraged! 🎉

I wasn't feeling up to doing today's challenge and, kept pushing it back until late evening. But, when I finally got on the mat and did it, the magic of the session paired with Charlie's calming and kind voice did its trick as usual, and I feel extremely at peace and energised. Thank you for all the wonderful videos

I'm so glad I made a point to show up, even though I didn't want to, but I knew I'd feel great afterwards! I haven't achieved a single peak pose but that's okay! I usually stay at option 1 and attempt option 2. I'm just happy to be here!

this was a hard one as i was still sore from yesterday! i got to challenge myself in a different way by not pushing myself past my limits <3 i always love when you do a reading/meditation at the end, it’s the perfect way to wind down

I was so amazed to see the progression of both crow and supported headstand. I still can’t take my weight off fully for more than a couple seconds but it’s more than I’ve ever done. Soooo exciting :) thank you xxx

My inner monologue was being a bit whinny about these longer classes when the reading started and I couldn't help but smile. Maybe it is true, all this hard work will pay off. My crow felt steadier today and tripod headstand even felt almost easy. I love the reading and the meditation at the end, thank you Charlie. See you all tomorrow for a much needed restorative class. Day 6 in!!

Sometimes it’s just not your day. Not going to lie, I found this one incredibly difficult. I had to pause the video to cry for a bit because I was so frustrated that the poses were not coming easily today. I felt weak and discouraged. I’ve been having shoulder pain lately and so many things just felt inaccessible. I may need to take a couple days to rest instead of trying to push through this challenge. 😔 On a positive note, I really enjoyed the shavasana reading though!

Perfect recap of all 5 days! Very well sequenced and spaced. I was eager to practice tripod headstand again, as it’s not quite up to par - unlike my supported headstand, which is easy and calming for me. It was really rewarding to see that I didn’t wobble at all, and stayed up straight for 10 breaths! Thanks for giving me the opportunity Charlie☺Today we had a gurgling pool, the distant bird calls and even a rooster serenading us. Bliss! 🙏🏻
