Hi Peter! Later in Shelly's testimony, I think on redirect, she added "IF ANYONE ASKS I was here for 30 to 40 min".

PETER the caregiver does state "he said if anyone asks I was here 30-40 minutes". She said this after the jury was sent to jury room, the lawyers discussed with judge, the jury came back and prosecutor was questioning her on redirect. The defense objected but he got to ask and she said it "he said if anyone asks I was here 30-40 minutes."

Peter you need to watch 12 minutes into redirect of Ms. Shelly. She told sled in October 2021 that AM told her " if anyone asks you, I was here 30-40 minutes.
Imo that's why she was scared and called her brother who is in LE!

Miss Shelly stated Alec made the statement “I was here 30-40 minutes.” She became emotional in her testimony because she knew such information was inaccurate. He followed up by commenting how expensive weddings were and offered to assist her financially. Remind you, such offer coming from a defendant who stated he was broke regarding the Beach case (Tinsley, Esq.). Also, he mentioned his “good friend” was the principal at the school she worked and he could help her with her position. This is classic Alec Murdough “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.” I found this testimony to be extremely damning for the Defense. I’m still bothered by the lack of physical evidence. BTW, how could he be on the scene, attempting to turn his son over and not have any blood evidence on his shoes? We know he changed shoes. Nonetheless, based on his 911 call he should have blood evidence on the bottom of his shoes. As I’m writing this I think he did it beyond a reasonable doubt. Sociopaths are EVIL and with his hunting experience, he has the knowledge required to pull this murder off. WOW!!!

Timeline: 844 Paul records video in kennels with Alex voice in background, 849 both Paul and Maggie’s phones lock for last time even though they were both using phones a lot and Paul was communicating with friends prior about the dogs tail…. Alex phone starts getting activity back at house after 9pm (that’s 10min or more to jump onto an atv and rip back to the house after ditching murder weapon somewhere on property-and why Alex seemed nervous about the tire impressions) I think he left his cell phone at the house on purpose to have an alibi, then Alex starts his truck at 906 and leaves for his moms after sending Maggie a text, apparently it’s a 20min drive(not sure if thats accurate) then he’s there 15-20min and then 20min drive back and he’s calling cops at 1006.

In Texas, a lawsuit in civil accident/negligence suits is called a friendly lawsuit when both parties have an agreement and just need the Judge to sign the order. They are very common when a plaintiff is a minor for the court registry account to be established.
I retired last Friday after working as a court clerk in Collin County, Texas. Loved my job and enjoyed learning something new everyday about civil law. Love your and EDB’s breakdown on the cases!

Peter, it takes seconds to shoot two people multiple times. I had patients who survived & said how quickly all happened then would learn a lot from police who would be protecting my ICU patients bc they were turning state's evidence in gang situations in Detroit... the timelines I heard that these base killers could commit these crimes amazed me. AM had plenty of time to murder, go to his house or use bag had handy to remove shoes before going to house or walked into it (wasn't searched for GSR on handles), drive to his mom's w phone suddenly back on... and why was it ever off??? & had time to get back from mother's to then make call to 911. Motive there, opportunity, lying about whereabouts, removed tons of calls surrounding-leading up to murders, changed stories of what he & Paul did during drive together (while he awaited his wife's arrival).... I don't know. You're an excellent plaintiff's attorney. I see too many arrows pointing towards AM. Crying afterwards? Murder doesn't happen in reverse & I've talked to the shooters at bedside visiting their work... who cried real tears only to confess later they killed their wife & 13 yr old son. That guy had Chicago drive added into his murder timeline. Had been to a convention where he was seen by 400
Firemen... I see AM had time to do it, motive... etc.

Replay Crew here: You said that if there was GSR on your things, that it would be odd because you don't shoot. I find it odd that he DID NOT have gunshot residue on him as he was at a property specifically used for hunting. The idea that he had been out earlier that day supposedly shooting with his son, and he didn't have ANY GSR or blood anywhere after being at that scene is odd.

Also, Alec never went upstairs at his mothers the night of the murder, so the next time he came with the tarp/raincoat HE WENT UPSTAIRS and put the raincoat in his mothers closet, then returned downstairs and put the tarp over the chair. He did not visit his mother, and he was there at 6:30am!

Great live stream! I love watching the trial with EDB and then coming to see your take on this. You guys are in agreement so far! I believe he is guilty in some way but the prosecution hasn’t proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he’s guilty!

Omg. The person who said mur*er-suic*de…that’s the first theory that makes sense.

Say, he’d been thinking about it for a while. That day, he gets confronted at work.

He goes home. He spends a good amount of time riding around with Paul, just spending time together. Has several hours of family time with Paul and Maggie.

He does it before or after going to his mom’s, but at his mom’s, he just lays down with her holding her.

If he was going to end his life (and his family’s), and even make it look like they were all murd*red, the actions make a lot more sense. Maybe he just couldn’t go through with it for himself. Then there was another try later…

I’m not glued to it, but it would make more sense than most things I’ve heard.
