In my business, Photoshop can be used merely to magnify a photo to see its details beyond the abilities of typical computer operating system tools. Magnification alone does not alter the original. Any alteration can also be traced within the Photoshop software.

I read or heard that he was separated from his wife at the time of the murder. She told her sister before she went to go meet him that if something happens to me you know who did this. He talked her into coming to the murder location so they could go see his sick grandfather together. He killed them then went to visit the grandfather and came back and “found” them. I live in Augusta GA so this case was big on the news for awhile. There have been Dateline and 20/20 specials on the case. What he did is sick and really wrong. I wonder if his wife discovered what he was doing so she separated from him and he was afraid that the truth would come out so he murdered her and the son just happened to be there. Takes a real sick person to murder your child, your own flesh and blood. My heart breaks for the surviving son. How do you support your father who killed your mother and brother and stole so much money. I think the drug addiction problem was all an act and part of his cover-up.

"Photoshopping" and using Photoshop aren't the same thing. PS is a digital photo diagnostic tool for enhancing certain parts of the colour spectrum, eg magenta, to separate and highlight where it is present, it doesn't add to or alter the image. Contrast and exposure levels could also be useful in forensic analysis purposes.
