One thing I can’t get over- he says he can’t remember the last thing he said to Paul or Maggie. He is so specific on soooo many things. How would he NOT remember the last thing they said to one another?? People don’t forget something like that…

I’ve never met an addict that hasn’t said/felt that they ‘hurt the ones they love the most’

Waters was redundant, but did a good job drawing in all the testimony and evidence. The team needed more demonstration material but over all, Waters was thorough, showed how many times AM back pedaled to fit evidence, then highlighted how AM's actions were to manufacture an alibi

Snapchat video is Paul speaking from the grave. God has a way of humbling people. This is Alex being humbled.

I would vote guilty. There wasnt anyone else there, literally a few minutes before Paul was texting about the dogs tail. He would have told his friend he was hearing noises in the woods, or the dogs were going wild and wondering why

Now I’m more convinced of his guilt than before. Waters did a great job of explaining this entire tragic story.

The only part that got me was talking about Maggie going towards her baby... as a mom, it broke my heart.

“She’s running to her baby…she’s running to her baby…”. Yes indeed she was. Heartless SOB.

Did anyone notice the smirks and half smiles on Alex’s face during closing? Absolutely disgusting.

He gave it away -- 'someone was planning this for a long time' and 'someone with hate in their heart ❤️did this'. Guess who!!

I’ve always been in the guilty camp and Waters did a good job of listing all my reasons. I have no idea what the jury will do but in my mind, AM was scrambling and desperate and did it to protect himself. If not, there was no reason to tell everyone so many lies. And there was no time for someone else to get there and kill his family without him knowing about it. So either he did it alone or he had help but either way he’s guilty as sin.

How could a man finding his wife and son brutally murdered lie about not being at the kennels.? Anyone explain that to me ? He is guilty.

Waters pulled it all together. He did a good job.

It’s not nothing that he didn’t drive over there….. it’s not that he didn’t drive over there instead of calling or texting them it’s that he didn’t swing by AFTER he called and text several times and got NO ANSWER… And Maggie‘s sister testified that the only reason she went to the house that night was to go with Alex to see his mom and Dad.

The proof of guilt is in the absence of emotion, the tight timeline, and compulsive lying.

The old information was enough. Vigilantes don’t borrow your guns, Alec changed his story as often as necessary depending on the evidence, i think PauPau left the guns on the seat of the cart, ALEC SAW Paul who had found bags of his pills in feeed room, demanded them, failed. Bam bam, mag comes running as he put down the shot gun, so he picked up the other gun, bam

I’m one that wanted to hear the last of what Waters had to say. He went over what I needed to hear. I did not want to say either way, but now I’m guaranteed that I can live with my decision to convict beyond a reasonable doubt. I highly doubt that what defence has to say in closing, won’t change anything for me. I am interested to hear from them.

Everything that has been brought up in trial, along with the fact that not one time on the stand did he ever say anything to the affect of, "I should have been there to protect them!" "Why did I have to leave them there, alone..." " Why did it have to be them, and not me?" "I did not kill Maggie or Paul, anytime. Ever, but once this trial is over the first step out of this courthouse my life's mission is to find those responsible..." Never once did he have any sense of guilt for having been the last to see them alive, and to have left and not been there to help them

You did a great closing this morning. Totally went to guilty with your closing.

I think a lot of people didn’t watch the whole trial or listen very well.
