And “being In Christ” is what born again Christians are… we are now IN CHRIST because we put our faith and trust in Him alone 🙌🏻 We didn’t know Him before the foundation of the world, so how Calvinists can claim we are already in Christ before we’re even born is ludicrous. If Calvinists were "In Christ" from eternity past, then nothing was ever "saved", "converted", or "given a new heart", etc. The crucifixion was unnecessary, the "sacrifice" on Cavalry was just an act or a show, like a Shakespearean play for the entertainment of humanity with no real or actual meaning or significance, and the entire Bible was entirely unnecessary and contradictory. Unless Calvinists believe that God trades in lies and contradictions, including the words of Jesus, then they will have to swallow the bitter pill that Calvin was wrong, and an utter heretic.

Those who do not believe in Calvinism are actually saying God saved me with my consent. God is sovereign He chooses those who will enter His house.

Some people don't believe because they're not of Jesus' sheep. His sheep hear his voice and follow him. All that the Father gives to Jesus will come to Jesus and no one can snatch them out of his hands.

This video is innaccurate. Historic calvinism actually teaches against the idea that the elect have always been in Christ. There may be a fringe that teaches something like this but this does not belong to typical calvinistic teaching. Calvinist have taught we aren't in Christ till we have been justified in time and space.

Couldn't you say that MacArthur's point is more about God's plan of salvation being planned out before the beginning of time? I'm not the biggest MacArthur but I almost feel like what you're describing is not what he means.

So now, God has to wait for us to effectuate and actualize always being in Christ. His perspective isn't enough, and all of a sudden, "God is sovereign' argument is thrown under the bus. Now he has to wait for us to effectuate his own decree and perspective!!

Why bother refuting Calvinism? It’s roots undeniably come from Manchean GNOSTICISM, which was influenced by Stoics. The APOSTLES identified both Stoics and Gnostics as HERESY in divinely inspired scripture.

I dont think calvinist understands it as we are always in Christ. The golden chain of redemption is a process. We may be predestined but only become in Christ when justified or saved. Im a staunch calvinist, many calvinist have been misrepresented in this video.
