Predestination: Calvinism Is Wrong

Predestination is a buzz word that is commonly misunderstood. Predestination has 4 locations in the bible. I go through these passages explaining how Calvinism is wrong about predestination. There are never any lost people that are predestined to be saved; only already saved people are predestined for the adoption, inheritance and to be conformed to the image of Christ.

King David in Psalm 139:16 says:
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.

Thank you Matt Right for your gift of clarification and the soothing it has brought to my soul about a crude and arrogant misrepresention of scripture.
Glory to God always.

Thank youse for your work here I almost fell into that trap of predestination a couple of times before but now, with your health and the Holy Spirit to guide me into truth, I’m back on track and warning people that are on the fence that those who believe in Christ, Jesus are special, elect, and chosen, and those who do not believe May still come to the Wells of salvation through believing in God‘s, only begotten son, Christ, Jesus Messiah
It’s just that beautiful that a child could even understand it. Amazing Grace.

I appreciate this video. I've wondered for awhile if anyone has considered that we may be grossly misunderstanding the predestination idea. This video confirms that I'm not the only one who's dared to consider that easy possibility.

Loved the video. You are where I was 10yrs ago. I am thankful for likeminded people who examine the scripture and don't think the reformation got it all right.

I've been preaching against this and many refuse to even here it. Foreknowledge is not the same as causation and those who are in Christ whom God foreknowledge would believe are predestined to be conformed in Jesus's image. That simple. Many still say they r reborn in order to believe but scripture says we were born again because we believe. God bless you brother and its wonderful you are helping the saints come to biblical understanding.

God dignifies us with free will, the power to make decisions of our own rather than having God or fate predetermine what we do. Consider what the Bible teaches.

God created humans in his image. (Genesis 1:26) Unlike animals, which act mainly on instinct, we resemble our Creator in our capacity to display such qualities as love and justice. And like our Creator, we have free will.

To a great extent, we can determine our future. The Bible encourages us to “choose life . . . by listening to [God’s] voice, ” that is, by choosing to obey his commands. (Deuteronomy 30:19, 20) This offer would be meaningless, even cruel, if we lacked free will. Instead of forcing us to do what he says, God warmly appeals to us: “O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river.”—Isaiah 48:18.

Our success or failure is not determined by fate. If we want to succeed at an endeavor, we must work hard. “All that your hand finds to do, ” says the Bible, “do with your very power.”(Ecclesiastes 9:10) It also says: “The plans of the diligent one surely make for advantage.”—Proverbs 21:5.

Free will is a precious gift from God, for it lets us love him with our “whole heart”—because we want to.—Matthew 22:37.

Doesn’t God control all things?

The Bible does teach that God is Almighty, that his power is not limited by anyone other than himself. (Job 37:23; Isaiah 40:26) However, he does not use his power to control everything. For example, the Bible says that God was “exercising self-control” toward ancient Babylon, an enemy of his people. (Isaiah 42:14) Similarly, for now, he chooses to tolerate those who misuse their free will to harm others. But God will not do so indefinitely.—Psalm 37:10, 11.

Manifestation of Christ. Finally, God has shown someone else The Truth. It is mentioned in Revelation, and other scriptures in old and new testament. Truly, God has blessed you with Wisdom and Understanding. Continue to Bless God in your faith, for the time is drawing near when many of us will be deceived and fall away.

People focus too much on "flying away" into heaven instead of doing the work that is required of us. For when the time is right, The Father will say to the blood of Christ found in us "Alive" and we will done greater things than He on the earth. This will be the full blessing of His anointing and power given to us by The Holy Ghost. My God Bless you as you continue to bless Him. In Jesus Name Amen.

You must be a seer of God to later be a prophet.

Bravo! Not only did you cover predestination incredibly well, you also covered adoption which most Christians get wrong all the time. Thank you for including our "inheritance" in the adoption. Some have seen that it involves the redemption of our body but they never cover the inheritance aspect of it. To Calvinists who say they become a child of God by adoption, they are showing they don't know what they're talking about. I would probably ask them, "so you've already received your new body and your inheritance?" Then go to the verses. Most Christians have a western rather than a "contextual" understanding of adoption. Again, Bravo!

My brother Matt you are right about everything because my brother I know a lot of people right they think we have to repent of our sins My Brother matt brother I wish I can have a platform because I tell a lot of Christians is by faith we are saved but My Brother matt people thinks is a salvation of works and I know is not that's why a lot of people My Brother is not coming to Jesus Christ because of this I think people would hear the truth about the truth gospel they would let Jesus Christ come in there hearts My Brother I believe in a lot of ways because you are very right about this brother I love you my brother in Christ Jesus I will keep you in my prayers you and your family brother And God bless you my brother in Jesus Christ our Lord and savior
