If you have never experienced Yogic Sleep, kindly use these important tips:
Please practice in a peaceful space, lay down on your back, place your legs a little bit wider than hips, and arms by the side away from the body. Use a blanket, eye cover, folded towel under your head or/ and pillow under your knees, etc.
Make sure to be comfortable not to have the need and distraction to make body changes during the practice ( YN is practiced without moving body).
Depending on ones situation, different experiences will be reached:
Falling asleep - just play it again :) If it keeps ocurring, try it when you are not very sleepy or try positioning partially seated. Prop yourself very well.
Deep relaxation is mostly a common experience.
Long-time experienced spiritual practitioners may enter into a meditative state. Ancient Yogis practiced yoga nidra before meditation.
