If you want to build muscle without gaining weight/fat, just have a strict diet and do HIIT(burpees, squat jumps, mountain climbers, crawl out push up’s, pull ups, and push ups)

Doing cardio 2 days a week, just running, and 1 of the days is on rest day from the gym.

Love the channel. Just found you last week. Not into new year resolutions but I am finally ready to start my fitness journey and get in shape. I've been walking (LISS)to my gym and back which about 3 miles there and back to my house. Usually I lift in the mornings and do my best to do cardio or Hitt when I can. Thanks for all the scientific information you provide for us all.

Currently training crossfit as my primary source of cardio. Training both in the gym and crossfit, It's been challenging but I feel great! Love your videos man, especially this new style were you incorporate science into the videos, as I am currently a biology major and wanting to go into pre-med. Your advice is amazing and I wish you the best as I continue to watch and look up to you :)

Mike I am, blown away at your progress & growth, I'm 54yrs. I haven't worked out in years, my body was over stored with fat at 5'3 I was 215lbs, since I started watching your video's and working out at home I am 184lbs, 17yrs ago(lol) my bench workout was 225lbs. 10 reps 10sets/ bent over back flys with 10lbs, 20lbs, 30lbs for 20-15-10 reps = 1 set, for 5 sets, pull ups 10 reps 10 sets. Now I am slowly working back into it, thanks to your motivational style of teaching, never was a cardio type of guy, until I started listening to you, I started out by walking, now I ride my bike I am not able to measure my distance because I am going around a huge park. But I am building endurance slowly. Thank you so much brother, I would love to try these products I just can't afford it right now, but please consider me in your give away. Thank you 👊

I'm doing liss at the moment, as well as walking as much as I can. Even just walking to the shops, makes such a huge difference in the long run.

Thanks so much for making this video. Like you, I don't enjoy doing cardio after a heavy weight training session. So the tip of using pre-workout AND separating the sessions was incredibly helpful. Thanks Mike for all that you do.

I completely can relate! I find it very difficult to do cardio after weightlifting but there’s a huge difference in strength and reps when you do weight training first.
