I decided to not care about this and to do cardio whenever and however I wanted. I'm happier for it because cardio is fucking awesome.

I’ve been running a mile everyday I workout except on legs days. I’ve gone from 200 lbs to 185lbs which isn’t much. But my body fat percentage went from 32% to 18% !

Yes. it will affect your gains but that doesn't matter since the benefits of cardio workouts are the improvement our heart health and other stuff.

Cardio? You mean more than 12 rep bench press?

I'm an amateur boxer so... Cardio is essential along with strength. Typically boxer body is lean and muscular anyway. Look at Mike Tyson or Ken Norton.

It’s crazy how your body adapts to give you strength where you need it.

Rugby players, boxers and mixed martial artists are a few examples of muscular athletes who do a lot of cardio. So long as you rest and eat well you have nothing to worry about.

Size, so I look good.
Strength, so I'm strong.
Cardio, so I last longer.

Why else are we working out and exercise if that's not the real goal?

Taking a day in between cardio and strength training probably wont work for most people. I resistance train 6 days a week. I throw in 15 minutes of jogging for a mile and some change every other day, and sometimes will do HIIT for one of those sessions if im feeling up to it. No noticeable decrease in muscle mass as long as my protein intake is consistent.

I just got home from a leg workout and a 6km paced hour of cardio, perfect timing. I am sad now, lmao.

I don't even know what the hell to believe anymore, in some videos, cardio burns alot of fat and in others cardio barely burns fat

I do both a lot! Lost weight, body fat, and gained hella strength over this summer! I run approx 3-4 miles a day at a 7:30 pace and lift 2 hours a day. Went from 182 lbs to 175 lbs and bench press went up from 260 to 280, pushups in doing 75 in 2 minutes, and 5K time is like 20:50! Key is more protein!!!
