I will be turning 61 years in the next month. Im just hoping to get rid of the middle age belly fat, build back some muscle, and tone up. Today was day two of this workout and wow! After the first day my muscles were all extremely sore! So today was harder to get through, but I did it!! Looking forward to day 3!! Thank you for doing this video and all the others! You look great! and are really giving me so much inspiration!😊💕

I did this Hiit workout on Wednesday...still feeling it in the glutes Friday 🤣😂🤣. Glad I only did 16 minutes. Used 8lb dumbbells and a 15lb du:bell for the kettlebell portion. Thanks so much!

@Melissa Neill, I am not out of shape, but have a post-menopause fat roll under my bellybutton I’d like to see disappear. I’m also an ice hockey goalie in training (at 60+)—and I’m posting here to say this workout, while wearing the waist trainer you recommend, had me covered in sweat … even my socks were soaked. I only used the 5lb hand weights instead of my 35 lb barbells/or/kettlebells. . . . The biggest surprise was the muscles under my kneecaps, on the side, that apparently I have not been challenging enough, during my off ice training.

Melissa, I have asthma and have not yet returned to the ice since Covid hit, and I am absolutely convinced you have saved me from a serious knee injury. It’s not just all those movements in net that you see goalies do—that gear weighs over 50lbs, so think of that when you watch a video of a hockey game … or the Stanley Cup playoff going on now. **Thank you!**

**NOTE:** I should probably clarify that every set you did, I did with the 5lb starter hand weights. So when you were showing how to do it without weights, I just repeated that with my hand weights—-if you illustrated a set 3 different ways, I did it the first way you showed, 3 times. I don’t want to scare anyone off from thinking it’s too challenging! It’s def got something for everyone, at every fitness level.

Thank you Melissa! I found you last week and started right away on your full body workout for beginners. I am feeling a difference in my body, as far as, my aches and pains are dissipating. All my fitness friends told me I needed to add weight lifting to my regimen instead of all walking, and you have reiterated their advice. I just turned 50, and am ready to make some positive changes in my workout so I can continue to age well. Thanks again 🙏🏻

Love this Melissa - thank you!! This is so doable and strength training combined with HIIT is so so important for anyone but woman over 50 this doesn’t addd stress to the body as the hormonal stressors is more than enough - thanks Darling I love the instruction!!
