This was great. I was prescribed this two in 1995, but it involved needing someone else to do the pulling with the towel. I now see how I can do this myself as needed. THANK YOU.

Just found this link. I have c-spine issues and degenerative discs. Been having pain in my neck with a pinched nerve causing pins and needles in left arm. Tried the 1sr technique sitting in the car and felt instant relief. Felt a warming sensation when the pressure on the nerve was released. I can actually move my head left and right without hearing a crunch or feeling pain!!!

Hi Dr I have stenosis in my cervical and a fusion on L5/S1. My surgeon at the time said "the fusion would work for about 10 years". I failed to ask, what happens after ten years? It's been over 20 years and I am unable to hold myself up and the pain is a 12 on the pain scale. Ive had countless mri's, ct scans, xrays, numerous injections, spinal cord stimulator, intrathecal morphine, etc.. and nothing works. I've tried acupuncture, numerous spine specialist including 2 separate nba surgeon's. Nothing works. My first spine surgery was emergency surgery when a disc between L5/S1 ruptured. The Horrible pain is directly behind the scar from the first surgery. I've had specialist say the stenosis in my cervical could cause the pain in my lower spine. I am confident the problem is on the opposite side of the scar. I've had a chiropractor strap me to an automatic decompression table for a series of visits over a two month period and I've recently been working with a therapist/sports trainer. He's been applying direct pressure onto the scar while bending me into a pretzel. Last week while I was laying on my side as he was pushing (and stretching) the room began spinning out of control and I really thought I was about to loose consciousness as things began close in almost like tunnel vision. I heard myself yell out for him to stop. Do you think the direct pressure on my spine (and fusion block) would cause something like that?

I have extreme pain around my left shoulder blade. When i look up or reach with my left hand, it hurts. I got a cortisone injection, which didn't help. I'm trying to figure out which nerve is pinched. The Dr says it's a neck pinch. Any ideas?
