Everyone realizing they will get injured every 1000 hours will now be doing a full body intense workout in under 10 minutes

Hurt my low back 2 years ago when i only did 120kg for triples on the squat, struggling to even get out of bed due to the pain and it went on for months. Fast forward to today, having a E1RM of 190-200kg, rarely getting any flare ups. Im glad I didnt listen to any of the no-cebo experts telling me that X or Y is bad. Load/Stress management is the KEY, the right programs can do that.

Another thing to consider is how many of these injuries come from people who are using bad form. Any exercise can be hazardous if you’re doing it wrong.

Squatting used to really hurt my back until I started using a squat plug and now I have never felt better.

It's funny they mention these lifts being dangerous but don't even mention the Olympic the snatch and clean lifts

"squatting is dangerous."
So you don't sit in a chair? Same thing.

People are constantly diverting blame away to things other than their own stupidity. Its one of humanities favorite skills

Simple if people think its dangerous or too intense i believe them, (its dangerous and too intense for them) people tend to project their personal doubts and insecurities, the second i stopped listening to a certain person in my life and learned to properly lift and how and when to push my self to the max, my strength went through the roof

I slipped a disc squatting. I was prescribed physical therapy and more squats. Now I feel a lot better.

Agreed. As long as you are respecting the weight and are cognizant of your personal capability on a given day, it's pretty safe.

Now if you're having a shitty day and you push it, watch out. Or if you're ego lifting far more than you've ever done, yeah.

I injured my back literally just trying to do too much weight. But I was back in the gym next week. And I never overdid it again. After all I'm not trying to be the strongest mfer of all time. It's just a positive hobby and tool for health.

Been squatting and deadlifting for 20 years, hurt my back lots of times, felt like hell, but I was lifting heavy again within days.

I just hurt my back for being a dumbass deadlifting, sometimes you have to really listen to your body, instead of having it in your head to try and reach new PR's when it's just not your day. fortunately it's nothing major as I was able to go on a quick run today and felt it helped loosen my back up some and feel much better atm.

My mistake was I attempted my usual 5 reps at 455 as a warmup felt easy enough, so bumped up to 475 flew up easy and then tried do go for 525 for 5, but on my first attempt didn't have it and then I tried getting in my zone and grinded the hell out of it which I don't usually do so put my body in a compromising position and on my 3rd rep that's when I felt my right lower side give out. It's funny since I've gone up as much as 585 but that wasn't the day and I should have probably played with 500 and called it there.

Moral of the story: listen to your body.

Out of all 3, I personally think that bench press is the most dangerous.

Sounds stupid but I’m the guy who use to lift in the 95%+ range every session. I got strong pretty fast but at a certain point my body couldn’t keep up. I was always in pain. It’s amazing what proper load management does. 😂
