Deadlifting is one of the most popular and effective exercises for athletes and bodybuilders, but watching Justin Lee and his deadlift form shows why maybe bodybuilders shouldn't deadlift lol. The deadlift is a great back workout exercise when done correctly so in this video I will show Justin Lee and his awful deadlift form and how you can learn from it.
If you're an athlete or a bodybuilder, then you know how important it is to build muscle and strength from the big compound exercises correctly.Which includes the deadlift when the deadlift is performed correctly. Martin Rios goes over how to deadlift correctly and not lead to back pain. Make Fitness Great Again. Thanks for watching!

Justin Lee isn't a bodybuilder.

Justin (guy in the video) has literally made a video addressing his form and how this is the most comfortable for him, he even shows older videos of him with the same form. Form is individualized for everyone, including this

As a PT student lol.

You don't know more about deadlfits on one's own body as Justin (guy in the video) does.

I feel like the classic, “shut the fuck up you’re smaller than me” will suffice

Squat academy covered this in detail before; it’s only dangerous to round your back during a deadlift if your spine continues to move under load. If you can round it, but keep it stiff and stable so it doesn’t flex further under load, then your risk of herniated disc is no different than any other form of deadlifting

Being a ‘PT student’ doesn’t qualify you talk down to a very high level competitive powerlifter. The interview you referenced even said that if you have the intention of competing then you should you. And a back curve isn’t even necessarily dangerous as long at it doesn’t increase throughout the lift

Bruh, I'm on a rugby team that has a physical therapist and a strength coach they both say upper back rounding is OK and possibly better based on your biomechanics

Justin lee has competed at a bunch of national powerlifting competitions and has made technique breakdowns. So to call the form that he has honed in after years of lifting and actively competing in powerlifting ego lifting is laughable.

That is Justin lee and he talks about his form a lot and doesn't recommend it to other ppl and u should atleast listen to what was said in the vedio he probably mentioned that in the vid itself, he is really down to earth and to top it off he is a powerlifter and damn good one at that.
