Deadlifts have gotten my lower back muscles rock solid and made my legs stronger too. The only leg exercises I do are deadlifts and squats and I’m still building muscle lmao. Plus deadlifts make you feel like a manly beast!

I am a concrete mason and I lift heavy things off the ground all day. Deadlifts have been the most helpful and functional Exercise for work to help strengthen my lower back.

I work in a warehouse, so the “deadlift movement” is very useful while I make a living.

Deadlift is pretty much one of the best exercises out there. It’s a compound exercise that trains multiple muscle group and also increase your overall strength. Both of which are what I presume a lot of us out there that goes to the gym wants. I do think that if you’re ego lifter it might be bad especially with bad form but if your form are good it’s pretty much benefits you more

When people with small backs and glutes tell me to not deadlift, I tend to ignore them.

Also, when people talk about functional strength its usually because they don't understand strength.
