20 minute Waist Whittler Cardio Pilates Workout | 7 Day Ab Challenge (do this video every day)

7 DAY AB CHALLENGE

Purpose: To build and reveal your abs in 7 days!
Begins: Monday May 4, 2020
Ends: Sunday May 10, 2020
Length: 7 days
Daily commitment: 20-30 min

How it works:
Day 0: Save the challenge graphic and upload it to Instagram or TikTok and let everyone know you’re doing this! Make sure to hashtag #7DayAbChallenge and tag @blogilates.
Day 0: Take a before picture or video of you abs.
Day 1-7: Complete the workouts listed for the day. You can even film yourself doing these and have a cool progress video that you can upload to Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube at the end of the week!
Day 1-7: Make sure to drink at least 64 oz of water a day for all 7 days.
Day 1-7: Make sure to reduce your intake of refined/processed carbs (bread, crackers, cereal, pastries etc.) and replace with whole vegetables and fruits for 7 days.
End of Day 7: Take an after picture or video of your abs and upload the results to Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube! Make sure to include the #7DayAbChallenge hashtag and tag @blogilates so other users can find the challenge!

WAIST WHITTLER CARDIO PILATES

1. Jump squats
2. Hip twists
3. Plank jacks
4. Double leg lifts
5. Plank jack pikes
6. Star abs
7. Flutters

We'll do each move for 45 seconds, with a 15 second break between. Let's do this!!!

Some workouts make me realize how hard I can be with myself. I was so mad at myself for not being able to do all the moves properly or struggling to keep up with the rythm, whereas I should be proud of my body for eveything it allows me to do! So let's all be kind to ourselves and learn to respect and love our bodies :)

I physically don’t understand how it is possible for the 15 second break to be the same amount of time as the last 15 seconds of plank jacks

20 mins ago, I didn't want to do this workout and was ready to veg out in front of the TV for another hour. 20 mins later, my body's pumping endorphins and I'm so happy I fought the devil on my shoulder. If you're on the fence about whether or not to workout today, I hope you find it in you to actually go ahead. You know you won't regret it.

I completed this 7 day ab challenge! It is the first I've ever completed and I'm so happy, it was so hard and I hated how I felt but it's nice to see a change. I lost a lot around my waist compared to what I thought would happen!

11th Feb measurements (a day or two before I joined the challenge)
Waist: 81cm
Hips: 92cm
Thigh: 62cm
Arms: 30cm

20th Feb (challenge completed)
Waist: 77cm
Hips: 90cm
Thighs: 63cm
Arms: 29cm

So it really did take a lot off my waist which I'm happy about ^-^ it's inspired me to keep working out and see more of a physical change.
